The RX-series models are AIS receivers in the form of a commercially available USB stick. Therefore you can visualise AIS data on your laptop or PC.The model number RX200 as an AIS receiver with which both AIS channels can be received simultaneously.
SEANEXX is used to receive message types defined in Rec. ITU-R M.1371-4 (04/2010) and to output them to a virtual COM port (VCP) on a PC / laptop. The data received can be presented as text or graphically with the corresponding PC software (e.g. hterm, OpenCPN). SEANEXX and the associated configuration tool work with the popular Microsoft Windows® and Linux operating systems.
